1. DISCOVER
We begin by framing the business objectives, identifying risks and clarifying scope. We immerse ourselves in the product domain, going deep to unlock insights and bring fresh perspective. We conduct stakeholder and user interviews (“minimum viable ethnography”), analyze the competitive and comparative landscape, and rapidly synthesize our findings into an insights report.
2. DESIGN
Building on the concepts that emerged during discovery, we conduct an ideation workshop and develop a design system that reflects core user scenarios. Time is spent refining the interaction model, prioritizing features, and developing a high fidelity clickable prototype that conveys the “finished” product experience. We identify functional requirements, specifying how to convert the designs into production.
3. BUILD
In this phase we work towards a production release, using an Agile methodology to ensure highly focused, time-bound and structured iterations of work. We design and build just enough features to gather validated user feedback and to steer ongoing product development. We evolve the product over time to enhance and expand the user experience.
